Do you ever wonder why at 50 you heal slower than you did at 15? The answer lies in stem cells. "I had some issues with my health, and I am not an unhealthy person. What I am is a guy in his mid-forties that was stuck. And I have tried a lot of things to restart my energy and metabolism: boxing circuits, increased cardio, pre-workouts, caffeine pills, etc. My wife heard about Dr. Nathan and asked if I would try this. "My wife and I would go to the recycling center once a week, which happened to be the time that Dr. Nathan was on the Wellness Radio, so we would listen to him. Before long, my wife was saying that he was talking about me. What do you mean by that? He isn’t talking about me; I am in good health. She reminded me that I cannot bend down in my knees without holding onto something to pull myself back up, and that my waist line is well over 10 inches larger than when we got married. I said I was in much better shape than most people my age. But the more times we went to the recycling center, the more Dr. Nathan was talking about me. He didn’t know me, but he knew what was happening to my health.

 When he announced an upcoming session of the Men’s Metabolic Reset, my wife encouraged me to join. Dr. Nathan called me before the class started and asked me what I wanted to work towards. I said nothing is wrong with me… except that I am on blood pressure medication, as my blood pressure is a little high. I am on my third medication because of all the side effects.

 Over the eight weeks, I learned a lot about the effects of the food we eat, the environment, and the information that we are fed. I have made a lot of changes in my lifestyle and what I eat, drink, think, and who I listen to. Dr. Nathan is all about what can help us build our immune system, build our knowledge, that can make us healthier, and better at taking care of our family, and changing the way we can pass it on to the next generation. What we eat can be the best medicine, or the slowest poison.

 The wife and I do not go to the recycling center as much, since I stopped drinking three beers a day; that was a lot of bottles. I have also lost twenty pounds, and I can bend down without holding onto something to help me get back up. After going through this class with Dr. Nathan, I see the concern he has to help us understand the importance of choosing the foods God planned for us to eat. So many of the foods we eat have been modified, processed, with additives. What I am saying is, thanks doc, for taking the time to answer all of my questions, and making it your purpose to help others understand that the food we eat can make us better, or make us sick." - Johnny B.
